What we are looking for
Yourzine China is currently searching for a Senior Web Developer / Programmer.
As a candidate you should be a specialist in building the back-end of Websites, mainly CMS systems and custom web applications. You will be asked to use PHP, MYSQL and other languages to develop these platforms. Ability to work in a team is also very important.
• Develop websites using open-source CMS systems;
• Design and develop custom web tools and applications;
• Guide other junior programmers in the company; • Be able to work in a team;
• Understand and evaluate the customer requirements and be able to turn those into technical specification documents for either yourself or other team members to work with.
Requirement and Qualifications
We expect the candidate to have proven experience as a web developer or software engineer in WEB related development projects. When working with PHP, MYSQL and other programs developing Web applications, the candidate must have the ability and skill to manage the whole project. Of course, being motivated and fast-learning is also very important.
• Fluent in oral and written English and Mandarin is a plus;
• A minimum of 4 years’ web application development related experience;
• Have excellent programming skills in PHP;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Experience with Drupal, Word press and other open-source CMS Systems;
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, javascript and AJAX; • University study background with Bachelor degree in Computer Science or InformationTechnology, software programming is a plus.
