苏黎世在中国大陆的发展可以追溯到1993年，是第一家在中国大陆设立代表处的欧洲大陆保险公司。苏黎世目前在北京和上海均设有办事处。为了增强在全球的业务网络并配合在中国市场的战略发展，苏黎世于2005年正式成立大中华区，并任命陈志宏先生为大中华区首席执行官。苏黎世大中华区包含了集团在中国大陆、香港和台湾的业务。

Zurich’s presence in China dated back to 1993. We are the first Continental European insurer to set up representative offices in Mainland China. We now have two representative offices in Beijing and Shanghai respectively. To reinforce our strong global network and capture long-term growth opportunities, Zurich set up the Greater China region in 2005 under the leadership of Mr. Johnny Chen. He is responsible for establishing and leading the Group’s renewed focus on the Greater China region, which includes its offices in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
We serve the majority of the Fortune 100 companies, such as Nestle, Siemens, McDonald, etc. We will bring this valuable experience and international networks to serve these global clients’ organization in China, and to serve the emerging Chinese multinationals and support these companies in their process of going overseas.
